Our sailing school in Hyères offers windsurfing, wingfoil, funboard, and sailing lessons for all levels. The school and its team organize both theoretical and practical sessions for beginners, intermediate, and advanced riders.
We offer lessons for children aged 8–12, teens aged 13–15, and adults aged 16 and up. You’ll progress in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere—ideal for learning in the best conditions.
Our instructors are passionate and will share their love for windsurfing with you at the legendary Almanarre spot.

Windsurf

Windsurfing, also known as sailboarding, is a water sport practiced on a body of water. A windsurf board consists of a float (board) and a sail. Since its emergence in the 1970s and 80s, windsurfing quickly gained popularity worldwide. Competitions were soon organized, and more and more people began trying this new and trendy water sport on lakes, seas, and oceans around the globe. Windsurfing truly took off in the 1990s with media coverage of events such as the “Bercy Indoor.”
A windsurfing culture also emerged, closely tied to a lifestyle that connects people with nature.
Although the sea is a space of freedom, windsurfing requires strict adherence to safety rules and awareness of weather conditions. Always check your equipment carefully, respect the designated zones, wear a life jacket and a reflective band if needed, avoid going out alone, and never abandon your windsurf board — it is also your lifeline!
